The Guild meets on the 2nd Saturday of the month at Milngavie Community Library and Education Centre from 10 am. Visitors and new members are always welcome and membership information is available here.

9th November: (all day) Guild member Susan Black - Workshop: Tapestry weaving in a hoop


14th December: (am only) Christmas meeting/party (All are invited to bring work to show or tell)




11th January: (am only) Member-run mini workshops (warping methods, chain plying, colour blending)


8th February: (am only) Centre for Textile Conservation, University of Glasgow - Talk: Conservation techniques (CHANGED Jan 2020)


14th March: (am only) Hamish Brodie, Trades House Glasgow - Talk: History of Weavers of Glasgow and Trades House


April: POSTPONED DUE TO COVID-19 PRECAUTIONS Talk on silk types by guild members. (pm) Deborah Gray - Workshop : Spinning Silk
